Tampaksiring

Tampaksiring is a town in central Bali, Indonesia. It is the home to the Gunung Kawi Temple [cite web|title=Tampaksiring, Valley of the Kings - Gunung Kawi|url=http://www.wonderfulbali.com/centralbali/tampaksiring.htm|accessdate=2007-12-20|author=wonderfulbali.com] and the Senang Hati Foundation.

In the past, Tampaksiring is one of the governance center in Bali during the kingdom period.

Tampaksiring is the site of the Tampaksiring Presidential Palace. The Palace was built between 1957-1960 at the initiation of President Soekarno.
