*Municipality: KunoyarHaralssund is located on the east coast of Kunoy and is connected to the village of Kunoy on the west coast by a tunnel. To the east, it is linked to the town of
Klaksvík onBorðoy by a dam. The tunnel and the dam were built in the late 1980s.2 kilometers south of the village there is a small ruin. Legend says that there was a Dutch community here many years ago.
