Karin Sjödin

Karin Sjödin, (born 8 August 1983) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour.

Amateur career

Sjödin was born in Gothenburg, Sweden. She was the Swedish Junior Champion and European Team Champion in 2000. She won the 2000 Oijared Ladies Open on the Telia Tour and was a member of the Swedish National Team from 2000-2005. She turned professional in 2005 and earned exempt status for the 2006 LPGA Tour season by finishing tied for 16th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament.
