rapcore band fromSweden . The band was formed in 2002. They became popular in 2007, as their song "Refugee" was purposely mislabeled asLinkin Park ’s 2007 single "What I've Done " (Album mislabeled on purpose to gain popularity as "Minutes To Midnight Advance XXL"), on many P2P sharing sites.The Swedish TV channel TV 3 had a contest where they were looking for rock musicians to build a rock band. It was called "Wannabe" and the TV viewers could follow them from week to week, to see how a band slowly took form. The five guys who won, got the chance to do some gigs and record a single called "To My Face".
Their album "
Surrounded By Freaks " was released in 2003.The last two years, the band has been in hibernation mode on and off because the band members have been involved in various other projects and bands.However, recently they have started working on some new material and they’ll start recording again, if the material is good enough.Tribal Ink stated thatLinkin Park ,Papa Roach ,Limp Bizkit &P.O.D. inspired them to have a musical career.The mix-up relating to Minutes To Midnight, has meant Tribal Ink has gotten a large gathering of people on their Myspace Page and led them to reach No.2 on Myspace’s Swedish unsigned bands chart in barely a few weeks.On Myspace, the band said that they will record a demo after the summer of 2007.Since May 2008, Tribal Ink have taken a break. Their singer is now singing in the band
Jupither .It isn't known yet when Tribal Ink will release their new album.According to their Myspace, the members of the band include Funky Dan (vocals), Lonne (guitar), Niels (guitar), Uffe (bass) and Stojan (drums).
