Excellence Group Luxury Resorts

Excellence Group Luxury Resorts ("Excellence Resorts") is a Dutch company specializing in hotel management and international real estate development. The majority of its business is dedicated to the creation and management of luxury resorts throughout the Caribbean. The company was formed out of a joint investment between between Medieval Times and ETI (Explotacions Turistiques de les Illes). This partnership came to fruition, on December 15, 2000, with the opening of Excellence Punta Cana, its first luxury resort, in the Dominican Republic.

Since 2000, Excellence Resorts, a family owned and operated business, has continued its expansion into other locations around the Caribbean. In addition to Excellence Punta Cana, it currently owns and manages Excellence Rivera Cancún, a resort of 440 luxury suites on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula along the Mayan Riviera. Additional Excellence properties under development are Excellence Playa Mujeres, in Mexico, scheduled to open in 2007 and Excellence Oyster Bay, near Montego Bay, Jamaica, scheduled for completion, in 2008.

Excellence resorts are adult only and offer all inclusive packages.
