Robert Deane, 1st Baron Muskerry

Robert Tilson Deane, 1st Baron Muskerry PC (29 November 1745-25 June 1818), known as Sir Robert Deane, 6th Baronet, from 1770 to 1781, was an Irish politician.

Deane was the son of Sir Robert Deane, 5th Baronet. He represented County Cork in the Irish House of Commons and was admitted to the Irish Privy Council in 1777. Deane succeeded succeeded his father in the baronetcy in 1770 and in 1781 he was raised to the Peerage of Ireland as Baron Muskerry.

Lord Muskerry married Anne, daughter of John FitzMaurice, in 1775. He died in June 1818, aged 72, and was succeeded in his titles by his eldest son John. Lady Muskerry died in 1830.
