Sengoku Hidehisa

nihongo|Sengoku Hidehisa|仙石秀久|Sengoku Hidehisa| (February 20, 1552June 13, 1614) was a samurai of the Sengoku through early Edo era. In the Edo era, Hidehisa became first daimyo of Komoro han (now Komoro city).

Hidehisa is also credited with being the man who captured the infamous Ishikawa Goemon.

Popular Culture

He is the main protagonist of the manga Sengoku of Hisao Ogawa. In this manga, he was fullnamed as Sengoku Gonbei Hidehisa (or Sengoku Gombee Hidehisa). The story starts when the Oda attacks Saitō Tatsuoki's Mino Castle.
