Andrea Lanzani (c. 1645 - 1712) was an Italian painter of the
Baroque period. He was born inMilan and died inVienna . He was the pupil of the painterLuigi Scaramucci andAntonio Busca in Milan, and later ofCarlo Maratta in Rome. He painted in a style recallingGiovanni Lanfranco . Later he moved to Vienna to paint for the Hapsburg court.His painting of "St. Carlo Borromeo" is considered among his masterpieces.
