William Cuttell

William Cuttell

William Cuttell was a first class cricketer who played 15 matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1862 and 1871.

He took 38 wickets at around 16 and a half with a best of 6 for 48 against Surrey CCC. Another good haul, of 5 for 46, came against Lancashire CCC in a Roses Match. He scored 272 runs as a right handed batsmen, for an average of 12.36 with a best of 56 against Kent CCC.

Born on January 28, 1835 in Sheffield, he died there on June 10, 1896.
