Shawn Jones

Shawn Jones (born June 16, 1970 in Thomasville, Georgia) was a National Football League player for the Minnesota Vikings. He is arguably one of the greatest Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets quarterbacks ever amassing the 1990 UPI National Championshipcite web|url=http://gtalumni.org/StayInformed/techtopics/spr91/review.html|title=1990 Season in Review|work=Tech Topics|publisher=Georgia Tech Alumni Association|date=Spring 1991|accessdate=2007-04-11] , 35 wins, 9,296 yards of total offense, and 70 touchdowns over 4 years of collegiate play. He found a quarterback position from 1994–1995 for the shortlived Baltimore Stallions, an American expansion team in the Canadian Football League.
