June 15 ,1951 inCalgary, Alberta ) is a formerwide receiver for theCalgary Stampeders from 1973-1983. He played college football atUtah State University . His two brothers also played at Utah State and with the Stampeders. His brotherJohn Forzani is a part owner of the Stampeders and is the owner of Sports Experts Inc., Canada's largest sporting goods retailer.After retiring from football without ever being on a Grey Cup winning team, Tom became active in real estate buying and selling houses. His uniform number 22 was the first number ever retired by the Calgary Stampeders. Some years after his retirement Doug Flutie came to calgary as a quarterback having always worn #22. After a small controversy and demands by the Stampeders Alumni, Tom's number remained inactive and Flutie wore a different number. Tom lives 1/2 time in Calgary and 1/2 time in California altho he recently accepted a job as coach of teh Calgary Colts, a university level football club.
