Huntsham Castle, Devon, is an Iron Age Hill fort [R.R.Sellman; Aspects of Devon History, Devon Books 1985 - ISBN 0861147561 - Chapter 2; The Iron Age in Devon. Map Page 11 of Iron Age hill forts in Devon includes Huntsham Castle.] 260M above sea level on the edge of the former Parish of Tiverton close to Huntsham. It is a classic hill fort enclosure occupying the brow of a hilltop in a commanding position with incredible views all round as far as Hembury fort to the South East, Cranmore Castle to the South and Cadbury Castle, Devon to the South West and Castle Close to the West.
