"Island of the Undead" is a single-player roleplaying gamebook written by Keith Martin, illustrated by Russ Nicholson and originally published in 1992 by Puffin Books. It forms part of Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone's Fighting Fantasy series. It is the 51st in the series in the original Puffin series (ISBN 0-14-036257-6). There are currently no announced plans to republish this book as part of the modern Wizard series.

In this book the player, as a young fisherman, travels to Solani Island, which lies near his village at the south-east coast of Allansia, to discover what has happened to the four elementalist wizards who are supposed to protect the coastline. The island, however, has turned into a haven for the undead, as one of the elementalists had meddled with magic beyond his control and driven his colleagues into a murderous conflict. Only when the elemental gemstones are recovered and united may the quest be completed successfully.

Title

The book's working title was "Plague of the Undead". The book was referred to by this title in the list of Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks at the front of the Fighting Fantasy books printed after its release.
