Among Garbage & Flowers

"Among Garbage & Flowers" (2005) is a short documentary about two trashmen from New Jersey, directed/produced/photographed/edited by Jeff M. Giordano.
It explores the "Trashman Psyche" by following two trashman from Williamstown, New Jersey (USA).
The film has been described as: "A song of two humans and the trash cycle of the universe."

Jeff M. Giordano's first professional film outside of film school, from North Carolina School of the Arts, at 22 years old.

The film was an Official Selection at thirteen film festivals, including 2005 Myrtle Beach International Film Festival, 2005 Ole Muddy International Film Festival, 2005 New York City Home Film Festival (now known as NYC PictureStart Film Festival), 2005 Westcliffe Digital Film Festival, 2005 Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, 2005 Cape May New Jersey State Film Festival, 2006 United States Super 8 Film and Digital Video Festival (where it was a finalist), and 2006 Open Aperture Film Festival.

"Among Garbage & Flowers" had both its International and African Premiere, at the 1st Annual Golden Lion Film Festival in Swaziland, Africa (2005).
The Middle East Premiere was at the Docudays: Beirut International Documentary Film Festival in Beirut, Lebanon (2005).
The European Premiere of "Among Garbage & Flowers," was at the 20th Annual Entre Vues Belfort International Film Festival in Belfort, France (2005).
The film was awarded a bronze diploma at The 2006 Festival Der Nationen in Ebensee, Austria.
Most recent news, "Among Garbage & Flowers" will had its Asian Premiere at the first film festival of Cambodia: CamboFest, on June 16, 2007.
