Greek mythology Hermus (Ἕρμος) is the god of the river Hermus (modernGediz river ), located in Aegean region ofLydia (modernTurkey ). Like most of the river-gods, he is the son ofOceanus and Tethys. He had was the father of theLydian nymphs .
