- The New Zoo
"John Blackman and Jane Reilly" redirects here
The New Zoo is the original name of the breakfast show broadcast on
Australian radio network Triple M inAdelaide . The program hosts areJohn Blackman ,Jane Reilly and Cosi. The name "The New Zoo" was renamed the "John Jane and Cosi" show after the hosts made a permanent name for themselves on the Adelaide radio dial. It originally ran with Adelaide Voice-Over artist, Scott McBain (also an ex-5KA announcer), as the anchor. He was axed from this position in early 2006. Jane Reilly was also not an original member of the team, but was added in late 2005, not after they were shifted to breakfast. This radio show was developed to provide Adelaide listeners with a local breakfast show to replace the The Cage which was produced in
Melbourne .It originally began on evenings (between 7pm and 10pm), before it was moved to Drive in late 2005. After the success it had on drive (where TripleM Adelaide's ratings increased for the first time in 14 months), it was then moved to Breakfast in November 2005.
