Feiser

Feiser

Feiser was a Peruvian rock band conformed by the now periodist Álamo Pérez-Luna (vocals and guitar), Andres Rojas (drums), Percy Ghilardi (guitar) and José Valderrama (bass).

Álamo and Andres played in a band called Relayer and Percy and José in a band called Chicama, both bands disbanded and the four decided to join together to form Feiser, the name is derivated from the Guitar Pedal "Phase". The band was early conformed by the four guys and Gino Rodriguez in Keyboards.

In 1984 they recorded their first 45 rpm called "Calles Grises", which didn't was successful. In 1985 they recorded two other songs, "Meditación Infantil" and "Mundo Extraño", which had a low radial difusion, but they continued. In all that year, they made a lot of presentations in Lima and in Trujillo and Huaraz. In 1986 Gino Rodriguez left the band and they became a four member band, also in that year they were becoming a regconized band for the many presentations.

In that year they recorded another two songs, "No Mires Atras" and "Un Lugar Para Rockear". In May 1986 they recorded another 2 songs, "Dame Una Salida" and Chicas de la Ciudad", "Dame Una Salida". In June 1987 they played in a concert in the Teatro Canoute. Also in the 19, 10 and 27 of June, they opened the show of the successful Argentine band Soda Stereo in the Coliseo Amauta. In the same place, in October the played with Rio and Rhuedas in the Segundo Festival Hisparock 87. In November 1987 they opened the concert of the Argentine band Enanitos Verdes.

In December 1987 they get into the studio to record their first LP, which was released in May 1988 called Momento de Acción. The same year they released their 3rd single and first of the LP called "Pecado Original" which was a successful hit. The LP contained songs which were a hit like "Dame Una Salida", "Un Lugar Para Rockear" and "Pecado Original", but included other hit songs like "Momento De Acción", "Cambios" and "Esta Es La Noche", which had a mediocre video-clip, like "Momento de Acción" and "Cambios".

In 1989, drummer Andres Rojas left the band and is replaced by Armando Pattroni, he was drummer of Trama in 1986-1988 (he recorded a successful LP with Trama). Pattroni played with them only a few concerts and later the young Pepe Wherrems joined the band replacing Pattroni. In 1989 they started writing songs for their 2nd LP which was never released. They wrote songs like "En Mi Pais", "Y Te Amáré", "Amor Cruel" and "Polvo En El Camino". the songs were diffused by the radios, but they were not successful.

By 1990 they band was in crisis, they practically didn't did concerts, only 3 in that year, and any of the new songs vas successful, so in 1991 Feiser disbanded, but they become of the best bands of all Peruvian rock history. Lead singer Álamo Perez Luna began a very successful career as a periodist.

In 2006 all the original members reunited to perform in the concert "Lo Peor De Todo" of Rio because of the 20 years of the recording of their very successful album. Feiser performed and all fans were there, another bands that performed were JAS, Nosequien Y los Nosecuantos, Dudó and the successful ex-Telegraph Avenue, Chachi Luján also performed. Now Feiser are planning to release their LP "Momento De Acción" in CD format. The band is on hiatus.

In 2007 the band had released a box-set with their only album Momento de Acción, song of their early demos tapes, and a DVD, with some of their concerts and TV appearances.
