Ben Butler is a rock and roll musician and music journalist based in Melbourne, Australia.
He is a former music and features editor of "Beat" magazine and the Australian "Big Issue", one of the founding editors of Slashdot-style music news web site Rocknerd, and writes a music industry column that is syndicated to a number of street papers including "Inpress". He is also a founding member of the band Jihad Against America.
