Dakota Collegiate is an S1 to S4 high school in Winnepeg, Canada with an enrolment of approximately 1150 students. Dakota offers Advanced Placement courses in several subject areas. Fact|date=June 2007

History

Dakota Collegiate opened in 1963 with 200 students and 20 teachers. In June 1964, there were 72 students in the first graduating class. Dakota began as an experimental team-teaching school and offered only University Entrance courses. Dakota now has over 1100 students, approximately 60 teachers, and offers over 120 courses. In 2006, it had a graduating class of 262 students.A number of alumni have received academic medals from the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg.
