Zymo Research was founded in 1994. Their mission statement was to supply researchers with innovative tools to make simple, rapid, ultra-pure nucleic acid purification possible. They address this goal with their flagship products: DNA Clean and Concentrator, EZ DNA Methylation Gold, Zymoclean Gel DNA Recovery, and their latest "Pellet-Free" Zyppy Plasmid Miniprep kits, which improve upon traditional ethanol precipitation.
