Roland JC-120 Jazz Chorus Amplifier is a guitar amplifier first produced in 1975. The amp is renowned for its crystal clear sound, lush chorus effect, and high quality tone and effects sounds. Many bands use it, especially indie, rock, jazz and electro acts. The amplifier was famously used by James Hetfield of thrash metal band Metallica to record the intro of the song Enter Sandman, in 1991, and has been the staple of his "clean" tone since 1988. It has also been used by Robert Smith of The Cure.
