"Spellbreaker" is a single-player roleplaying gamebook, written by Jonathan Green, illustrated by Alan Langford and originally published in 1993 by Puffin Books. It was later republished by Wizard Books in 2007. It forms part of Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone's Fighting Fantasy series. It is the 53rd in the series in the original Puffin series (ISBN 0-14-036427-7) and 28th in the modern Wizard series (ISBN 1-84046-807-6). The adventure was slightly edited for the Wizard edition.

The player takes the role of a warrior going on a pilgrimage to purify his soul. After inadvertently helping a villain to steal the Black Grimoire, the player must retrieve the book from a coven of evil witches and warlocks before time runs out.

Wizard version

The Wizard editions of "Spellbreaker" and "Curse of the Mummy" have been revised in order to make them more playable. "Spellbreaker" has fewer edited references than "Curse of the Mummy". Some enemies have reduced SKILL scores and there have been several bug fixes.
