Aaran McEneff (born in Dublin on 5 August 1985), is an Irish footballer who is currently in Florida on a Soccer scholarship. McEneff plays as a left-sided defender and can also play as a left-sided midfielder.

Career

McEneff began his senior career with UCD where he was attending as a student. McEneff was part of UCD's successful Dr. Tony O'Neill Under-21 league winning squad of 2005. Aaran broke into UCD's first team during the 2005 season but his 2006 season was cut short due to a serious foot injury. McEneff returned to action in 2007 on loan to Shelbourne on February 27 2007. He made his Shelbourne debut on March 9 2007 as a substitute in a league fixture against Kildare County at Tolka Park, a game that ended in a 2-2 draw. Aaran made a total of 11 Shelbourne appearances during the 2007 First Division season before leaving the club in July to pursue his studies in Florida.
