October 21 ,1980 in Fort Lauderdale,Florida ) is an Americanbaseball pitcher in theArizona Diamondbacks organization. Coutlangus made his major league debut in by|2007. He attended theUniversity of South Carolina .Coutlangus was drafted in the 33rd round of the by|2000 amateur draft, but did not sign. In by|2003, the
San Francisco Giants drafted Coutlangus in the 19th round. After three years in the Giants organization, Coutlangus was claimed off waivers by theCincinnati Reds onMarch 31 , by|2006 and played in the minor leagues with theChattanooga Lookouts andLouisville Bats . During a 2007 game with the NY Mets, SNY announcer Gary Cohen stated that Jon's name is "very carefully pronounced," presumably because the name Coutlangus bares a resemblance, in appearance and in sound, to the word cunnilingus.After being designated for assignment at the end of
