Institute of Evil , becoming known as Ape-X.When the Institute was defeated by the Squadron Supreme, Ape-X was behavior-modified and elected to full membership in the Squadron and fell in love with Tom Thumb. She later suffered from a psychotic withdrawal from reality, due to the behavior modification process. During a battle alongside the Squadron, Ape-X's mind was destroyed ["Squadron Supreme" #11] because of two conflicting behaviour orders, where Ape-X lapsed into a coma ["Squadron Supreme" #12]
