Alan Simpson (DJ)

Alan Simpson ) is an Irish DJ and presenter of The Alan Simpson Show on BBC Radio Ulster.

He was the entertainments manager at Kelly's nightclub, and Lush! in Portrush, County Antrim, and also a DJ there under the pseudonym "DJ Aluminium"

Alan Simpson is the new presenter of BBC Radio Ulster’s 3pm-5pm slot from Mondays to Fridays.

Portrush man Alan is a fresh new talent to the airwaves. He first hosted his own entertainment-based programme on BBC Radio Ulster for a short stint during the summer of 2006.

Alan, a self-professed ‘bletherer’ who describes himself as ‘forever young, perpetually silly’, has been in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years.Alan has become known as "The flair with the hair on air" with his afternoon show on BBC Radio Ulster being hailed as " The Tallest Show On Radio"

Alan is also a passionate supporter of Coleraine Football Club and has recently been appointed " Irish League Football Ambassador" by the Irish Football Association.
