Athletic Union Aigieas Aigio (Greek: Α.Ο. Αιγιέας Αιγίου "A.O. Aigieas Aigiou/Egiou") was an athletic club in Aigio in the Achaia prefecture.

History

The team was first founded in 1980. For the area, they play in the Aigio National Stadium where then it was still dry. The team is a part of the Achaia Clubs Football Association. The team participated in the second division in 1981 and entered the second division in that year. In 1984, the team returned into the second vision and in 1985, it lost the first division entry. The team continued to play in the second division until 1990 where it won an entry into the first division where in the same year entered the cup finals where it tied with APS Patrai 3-2. In the same year, the team remained without a stadium due to that the national stadium was closed for adding lawn. The factors of the team asked for a closer field where the Valimitika Achaia play and later with Aris Valimitika, the team became Aigieas-Aris and plays in the football field in Valimitika.
