"Texas Lady" is a 1955 film made by RKO Radio Pictures, directed by Tim Whelan, and starring Claudette Colbert, Barry Sullivan and Ray Collins

Western. Story of a girl who inherits a newspaper in the west, and how through the paper she succeeds in defeating the cattle barons of the area. Screenplay by Horace McCoy, based on his own story.

Plot

An ambitious young woman (Claudette Colbert) inherits a newspaper, and soon discovers that two cattle barons have been using the publication to further their own financial ends. Unfortunately for them, the new publisher has a mind of her own.
