Leon Russell called in engineerTerry Manning , who had just studied this early commercial synthesis under inventorRobert Moog in Trumansburg, NY., to introduce him to this new technology. Other early rock users wereGeorge Harrison of The Beatles andMickey Dolenz ofThe Monkees .Eric Clapton plays guitar on "Alcatraz" and "Beware Of Darkness". "Stranger In A Strange Land" was also covered byCommander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen on the album "Flying Dreams".
