Pamal

Pamal is a village in Ludhiana in Punjab. The current sarpanch of the village is Jasminder Kaur. A First Anglo-Sikh War memorial is under construction in Pamal. All the funding for the war memorial was made by Canada based NRI Colonel (Retd.) Amarjit Singh Sekhon. The village is situated on the Mullanpur Dakha-Jodhan link road. The village has daily hourly passenger bus and tempo services linking it with the nearest major towns/cities of Mullanpur Dakha, Dehlon and Ludhiana. The village is also home of Balwinder Singh Billu, the revolutionary who fought the war for Sikhs' freedom and is a Ludhiana area commander for Khalistan Commando Force.
