- Screen Academy Scotland
The Screen Academy Scotland is a collaboration between
Napier University andEdinburgh College of Art . It was opened in August 2005 [http://www.scotland.gov.uk/News/Releases/2005/08/22125833] by the then First Minister of Scotland, Jack McConnell, and is based inEdinburgh ,Scotland . Both Napier and ECA already had established film making courses. The Academy offers practical, project-based, postgraduate courses. A new Production Cente was opened in August 2006 by Napier Honorary GraduateTilda Swinton .Sir Sean Connery andDame Judi Dench are patrons of the Academy.
