The 1981 South African Grand Prix was a Formula One non-Championship race held on February 7, 1981 at Kyalami.
The race was not part of the World Championship due to the FISA-FOCA war. Although not a part of the Championship, the South African Grand Prix saw an entry of high-caliber drivers and cars, and was won by Carlos Reutemann in a Williams.
