Rosetta High School is a co-educational comprehensive state
high school located in Rosetta, a suburb of the city of Glenorchy,Tasmania , in landscaped surrounds on the banks of the Derwent River.Rosetta High School has students in grades 7 to 10.Like the suburb in which it is located, Rosetta High School is named in honour of the famous
Rosetta Stone , which features on the school emblem.Rosetta High School is very community focused, and although enrolled students come from all over Hobart, particularly the northern suburbs, the majority of students have completed grade 6 at Rosetta's associated primary schools. These are
Rosetta Primary School ,Mt Faulkner Primary School ,Goodwood Primary School , andGlenorchy Primary School .In 2005 Rosetta High School engaged in a programme of upgrading design, technology and home economic facilities, as well as building a new library.
