Joseph Sohm

Joseph Sohm (born Feb 28, 1948) is a photographer specializing in the USA. He has a B.S. in American History from the University of Missouri. His photography is represented by stock photo agencies in over 50 cities worldwide.

For President Ronald Reagan's U.S. Commission on the Bicentennial of the Constitution, Sohm was commissioned to photograph and produce two touring multi-media shows for Merrill Lynch and Philadelphia's "We The People". "NEWORLD", a live multi-projector show, featured Sohm's narration read by William Shatner.

Sohm was commissioned to create, produce and photograph President Bill Clinton's official inaugural video, "Portrait of Change", featuring the music of Michael Jackson and David Crosby in 1993. He conceived President Clinton's inaugural program, "Bells of Hope", which featured bells ringing across America, around the world and even in the Space Shuttle in orbit.

In 1996, he published "Visions of America", the first stock photography catalogue exclusively on America. In 2000, he published "Pan-America", the first panorama stock catalogue exclusively on America.
