Wang Hin ( _th. วังหิน) is a district ("Amphoe") in the central part of Sisaket Province, northeastern Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from the north clockwise) Mueang Sisaket, Phayu, Phrai Bueng, Khukhan, Prang Ku and Uthumphon Phisai.

The main road through the district is highway 220, which connects the district center with the provincial capital Si Sa Ket.

History

The minor district ("King Amphoe") was created on March 9 1987, when the five "tambon" Bu Sung, That, Duan Yai, Bo Kaeo and Si Samran were split off from Mueang Sisaket district. Administration

The district is subdivided into 8 subdistricts ("tambon"), which are further subdivided into 126 villages ("muban"). There are no municipal ("thesaban") areas, and 8 Tambon administrative organizations (TAO).
