Kristian Hargreaves was a fictional character on the long-running Channel 4 British television soap opera "Hollyoaks".

He was played by actor Max Brown between 2002-2004.

Character History

Intelligent, charming and witty, Kristian arrived in Hollyoaks as a student studying for a BSc in molecular biology at Hollyoaks Community College. Kristian instantly moved into Tony Hutchinson’s student house, but when Tony started selling it, Kristian had to move to Nick O'Connor and Jodie Nash's flat. Kristian had already landed female attention from Izzy Cornwell, Becca Hayton, and Jodie Nash.

But eventually, many women in Hollyoaks learnt the ways of Kristian, as he never really had one woman for too long. A tragic incident left Kristian shaken, however, when he organised a potholing trip, which ended up in disaster when both Theo Sankofa and Jamie Nash died due to a serious storm. After recovering, Kristian went into a ‘Big Brother’ style reality show where he attracted many teenage girls, including Lisa Hunter. Soon, Lisa had a crush on him and Kristian began to date her but made her promise to keep it a secret. It wasn’t to last as soon as Kirstian realised Lisa was still a virgin. He then dumped her which led to Lisa seducing Cameron Clark and losing her virginity to him. She then went back to Kristian but Lisa’s brother, Dan, found out about the two dating and warned Kristian off.

Failing to keep any women, Kristian felt lonely and found the company of Jodie Nash as the pair ended up sleeping together. However, like any other relationships Kristian had, this soon ended when Jodie left Hollyoaks because she failed her course. Kristian began to have one-night stands, which included Mel Burton as she ended up hurt by the way he treated her. Kristian picked his next victim, but this one gave him a taste of his own medicine. He dated Stacey Foxx, which turned into a nightmare as she was on his case 24/7 with an annoying laugh. Desperate to get rid of her, he told Stacey that he was gay with Nick O'Connor. Kristian then transferred to another university to get away from Stacy and left Hollyoaks behind him.
