A Spanish "comarca" is roughly the equivalent of a "county" in the USA or Canada, a "riding" in the United Kingdom, or a "Landkreis" in Germany, but it has no administrative relevance.

The La Janda comarca is composed of the following municipalities:
*Alcalá de los Gazules
*Barbate
*Benalup-Casas Viejas
*Conil de la Frontera
*Medina Sidonia
*Paterna de Rivera
*Vejer de la Frontera
