Rabbi Brad Hirschfield is the President of the
National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership , an interdenominational leadership training institute, think tank, and resource center for the Jewish community. He received his B.A. from theUniversity of Chicago , and his M.A. and M.Phil from the Jewish Theological Seminary. He is an ordained Orthodox rabbi.As president of a national organization, he is a frequent spokesman on Jewish topics. He is co-host of the popular weekly radio show, "Hirschfield and Kula", which airs on KXL in
Portland, Oregon , and is syndicated withNational Public Radio . Hirschfield is the author of numerous works, most recently they include "Remember For Life: Holocaust Survivors' Stories of Faith and Hope" (Jewish Publication Society) and "You Don't Have To Be Wrong For Me To Be Right: Finding Faith Without Fanaticism" (Harmony). He is featured on a weekly interfaith television series "Building Bridges: Abrahamic Perspectives on the World Today", which began airing onAmerican Muslim TV in 2006-2007, and is now in its second season. The series, reaching more than 2 million viewers, addresses the divisiveness amongst the traditions.In June 2008, Rabbi Hirschfield participated in an international gathering of religuous leaders, convened in Madrid by the King of Saudi Arabia.
