St Andrew's Primary School (Soham)
- St Andrew's Primary School (Soham)
St Andrew's Primary School is a primary school located in Soham, Cambridgeshire, England. It is twinned with the local parish church of the same name.
St. Andrew's CE Primary School was established in September 1990 following the amalgamation of Soham CE Junior, Soham County Junior and Soham County infants school to form two new Primary Schools. The modern building stands in open grounds next to Soham Village College.
St Andrew’s is a popular and successful school. Their aim is to create a stimulating and supportive environment where learning is fun and children are able to reach their full potential
Murder victims Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman were pupils at the school at the time of their deaths in August 2002, just before they were due to begin their final year at the school. Ian Huntley, caretaker of nearby Soham Village College, was later found guilty of murdering both girls. Maxine Carr, a learning support assistant at St Andrew's, was found guilty of perverting the course of justice and jailed for three-and-a-half years - but she was released within five months of the trial as she had already spent 16 months on remand.
The majority of pupils leaving the school move on to Soham Village College.
