Anthony Loyd (journalist)

Anthony Loyd (born 12 September 1966)) is a British war correspondent, author, and former British Army officer who saw active service in the First Gulf War. Loyd is a former heroin addict.

Loyd is the author of "My War Gone By, I Miss It So", an account of the Bosnian War. His follow-up book "Another Bloody Love Letter" is an account of the Kosovo War.

Loyd is the great-grandson of Lieutenant General Sir Adrian Carton de Wiart.
