Chejerla is a village and a Mandal in Nellore district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. A local divine temple of the Lord ChennaKesava with unique old-age back history and The Sankranti festival is best celebrated by thousands of devotees.

Chejerla is 55 km from Nellore. Somasila is 18 km from Chejerla.[citation needed]
Demographics
As of 2001 India census[1], Chejerla had a population of 4,456. Males constitute 49% of the population and females 51%. Chejerla has an average literacy rate of 67%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 75%, and female literacy is 58%.

- Z.P High School: This is one of oldest school in that area. From this school, lot of engineers, doctors and Teachers are well settled. Most of them are out side of India.
- CVSR School: This is donated by Timma Reddy. Now it is maintained by M. Sudhakar Reddy, Madapalli[2]
