Lallaguda is a suburb in Secunderabad, India. It is close to Malkajgiri. It is 7 km away from the city centre. This area is covered with railway quarters. Lallaguda is divided into south and north lallaguda by the railway track dividing it. South Lallaguda was dubbed "Little England" ages ago due to it being the home of the Anglo-Indian Community.

A few years back, nearly hundred Anglo-Indian families lived in the Railway quarters of South Lalaguda along with ten Parsi families in one lane. Christmas used to be a carnival in this once quaint suburbs, which would be decorated with lights and stars throughout christmas and new years.

However, now over 60% of them have migrated elsewhere in the city and other countries such as England and Australia. The boom in real estate saw this once picturesque suburb being transformed into a concrete jungle.

Commercial area

The shopping area in Lallaguda is really good. There is choice for everyone.

There are many schools, and St. Anns high school [girls] is 3 km away and also St Patrick's High School, secunderabad [BOYS]

Transport

APSRTC runs buses to this area, connecting it to all parts of the city.

The closest MMTS Train Station is at Sitaphalmandi and Secunderabad.
