Wooten joined the firm in July 2000 as a senior vice president of finance to manage the formation of the PharmaBio Development Group (NovaQuest’s predecessor) and to contribute to the execution of merger and acquisition and corporate finance strategies.Prior to joining Quintiles, Wooten worked for nine years with First Union Securities Corporation (now Wachovia Securities, Inc.) in Charlotte, North Carolina, most recently as a Managing Director of Investment Banking. In this capacity, he advised corporate clients on mergers and acquisition, as well as corporate finance strategies. His capital markets and corporate finance experience includes mergers and acquisitions, public and private equity finance, and fixed income advisory. Earlier in his career at First Union, Wooten helped formulate the product offerings and delivery channels for the company's capital markets business. Mr. Ronald J.
