Romilly Weeks

Romilly Weeksis a British newsreader and journalist. Currently employed by ITN as a Royal Correspondent for ITV News.

After a career in acting, Weeks went into broadcasting journalism. She was embedded with the British Army during the Second Gulf War (infamously taking her hair straighteners),citeweb|url=http://observer.guardian.co.uk/woman/story/0,,1985636,00.html|title=The truth about female stereotypes|publisher=The Guardian|date=January 14, 2007|accessdate=2008-04-04] reported from Thailand after the tsunami, and from Australia for the Queen's last tour. Her recent interviewees include Prince Harry, Margaret Thatcher and John Howard.

During the Queen's 60th wedding anniversary, Weeks was listened to in live commentary and then surprised by Prince Philip. Since 2006, Weeks can be seen occasionally presenting the "ITV Weekend News" bulletins. Plus relief presenting on the "ITV Lunchtime News" or the "ITV Evening News" programmes.

She was also a regular presenter on the now defunct ITV News Channel.
