The "Fairy Tail" manga storyline can be divided so far into eight distinct story arcs.
Fairy Tail
#Introduction: "Chapter 1": Lucy meets Natsu, who is looking for Salamander.
#Macao: "Chapters 2-3": Natsu, Happy and Lucy search for Macao, a mage of Fairy Tail, who has disappeared on the job.
#Daybreak: "Chapters 4-9": Natsu talks Lucy into forming a team with him, so he takes a job with an extremely high pay.
#Lullaby: "Chapters 10-23": Erza Scarlet returns to Fairy Tail to recruit Natsu and Gray to help her against Eisenwald Guild, a dark guild banned by the Magic Council.
#Galuna Island: "Chapters 24-46": Natsu decides to take an S-class job, and drags Lucy and Gray along with him on the cursed island of Galuna, where a plot to revive an evil demon takes place. Gray's past is revealed.
#Phantom Lord: "Chapters 47-70": Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Gray and Erza return to find their guild headquarters has been destroyed. After speaking to Mirajane they discover that a guild known as Phantom Lord was responsible.
#Leo: "Chapters 71-74": In the aftermath of the Phantom Lord attack, Loke's past is revealed.
#Tower of Paradise: "Chapters 75-102": After Erza is kidnapped by her former friends, the Fairy Tail mages (accompanied by Jubia) travel to the Tower of Paradise in order to bring her back. However, upon reaching their destination they find themselves entangled in a plot to revive an ancient dark mage. Siegrain and Erza's past is revealed.
#Luxus: "Chapters 103-": Guild is restored, and some man knowing Lucy appears. Part of Luxus's past is revealed.

#Lucy's Photoshoot: "Chapter 22 Omake": Lucy is invited to take a photoshoot for the magazine "Sorcerers". Natsu, Gray, and Erza come along and chaos ensues. Characters from the author's previous manga, Rave Master, appear in the background.
#Watch out for that guy!: "Chapter 63 Omake": Lucy falls into a misunderstanding after rumors spread about Natsu.
#Fairy Academy: "2007 New Year's Eve Special Chapter 68 Omake": Lucy transfers to a new school, where other characters from "Fairy Tail" are students, but she finds out, the students are all Yankee.
