KEMP Technologies, Inc. is a developer and manufacturer of application delivery controllers and server load balancer appliances. The company was founded in 2000 and is based in Medford, New York. Originally a reseller, KEMP changed its business model in 2003 with the introduction of the LoadMaster.

KEMP LoadMaster

In designing the LoadMaster, KEMP's objective was to offer a cost effective load balancing appliance geared towards small and medium businesses (SMB).
