Joe Cali is an industrial artist and inventor who has received several awards from some of the most prestigious engineering magazines such as "Machine Design" magazine, "Volkswagen Australia", "Flat 4" in the United Kingdom, "Pen World" magazine, "Elevator World Magazine" and several other automobile and industrial design magazines worldwide. He is also the author of "The Type IV Upright Conversion Manual".
Winner of the "Mechanix Illustrated" award two years in succession.
Some of the most prestigious buildings in the world, the Chrysler Building, the Empire State Building and the late World Trade Center have examples of his mechanical designs.Fact|date=June 2007

Joe Cali (b. February 12, 1960) is the author of the best selling book "The Complete Guide the Ultimate Family Road Trip". Written with the help of his entire family, including wife, Wendy, and children Christie and Joshua. Together the Cali's have travelled throughout the entire United States, and logged over 100,000 miles of Road Trips in the process.
Mr. Cali has been interviewed and quoted in many newspapers and magazines, including USA Today, The New York Times, National Geographic Traveler, and the Boston Globe, for his views on travel. He has also appeared on numerous news segments.
Mr. Cali, an Executive at Grand Circle Travel, in Boston, Mass. Was the recipient of the "Excellence in Community Service" Award in 2006 from the Grand Circle Charitable Foundation.
