- Robin Cayzer, 3rd Baron Rotherwick
(Herbert) Robin Cayzer, 3rd Baron Rotherwick (born
12 March 1954 ) is a British estate owner and manager. He is one of the ninetyhereditary peer s elected to remain in theHouse of Lords after the passing of theHouse of Lords Act 1999 . In 1996, he succeeded to his father's title.The son of the 2nd Baron Rotherwick and Sarah Jane Slade, he was educated at
Harrow School and theRoyal Military Academy, Sandhurst . He was further educated at theRoyal Agricultural College, Cirencester , where he graduated with a Diploma in Agriculture in 1982. Between 1973 and 1976, he was Acting Captain of The Life Guards and between 1977 and 1983, of theHousehold Cavalry .Cayzer worked for the
Barings Bank from 1976 to 1978 and forBristol Helicopters from 1978 to 1980. For thePopular Flying Association , he was member of the executive committee from 1997 to 2001, and vice-chairman from 1999 to 2001. Since 2004, he has been board director ofCayzer Continuation PCC Ltd and since 2006, non-active chairman ofAir Touring Ltd . He is further president of theGeneral Aviation Awareness Council . In 2005, he was made a Fellow of theIndustry and Parliament Trust .Cayzer has married firstly Sara Jane McAlpine in 1982. Being divorced in 1994, he married secondly Tania Jane Fox in 2000. He has a daughter and two sons, including
Henry Alexander Cayzer by his first wife, and a son and a daughter by his second wife.References
