- Taneli Jarva
Taneli Jarva is a Finnish musician. Currently, he is the
vocalist forThe Black League , which he formed in 1998. He is probably best known asvocalist /bassist inSentenced which he left in 1995 because he didn't like the melodic direction the band were heading into, and therefore decided to move on to other projects. But on Sentenced's last live gig in 2005 in Oulu, he joined them a last time to sing the songs he recorded with them. He was also the bassist forImpaled Nazarene (1992-1996) andvocalist in the old schooldeath metal bandChaosbreed (2003-2005).He is also a tattoo artist at [http://www.artforlife.fi Art For Life] studio in Helsinki. Some of his portfolio can be seen at [http://www.whitetown.fi Whitetown] Tattoo.Music Style
His way of singing changed extremely over the years. In the beginning of his career with Sentenced he used screaming vocals fitting their Death Metal music, on the albums
Shadows of the Past ,North from here and the EPThe Trooper (Iron Maiden Cover). On the AlbumAmok his vocals were like a very interesting mixture of sharp and melodic singing. In his new band he adopted manyRock'n'Roll elements.Records
