Ben-Zion "Bonni" Ginzburg ( _he. בן ציון שבתי "בוני" גינצבורג, born 12 December 1964) is a former Israeli international footballer and currently works as a television presenter. With 62 full caps, he is the most capped goalkeeper in Israeli football history. Playing career

A goalkeeper, Ginzburg played for Maccabi Tel Aviv, Maccabi Petah Tikva and Beitar Jerusalem before signing for Glasgow Rangers in 1989. He returned to Israel in 1991. He later played for Maccabi Yavne, Beitar Tel Aviv, Ironi Ashdod, Bnei Yehuda, Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Ashkelon and Hapoel Kfar Saba.

International career

He made his debut for Israel aged 19 on 10 June, 1984 in a friendly match against Wales, keeping a clean sheet as the game ended 0-0. His last cap came aged 31 in another friendly, this time against Romania on 14 August 1996, a game Israel lost 2-0. In addition to the 62 caps won in FIFA-recognised games, Ginzburg gained another 6 caps in qualifying games for the 1988 Olympic football tournament. In his 62 official caps, Ginzburg kept 15 clean sheets, and another four in the Olympic matches.

Television career

Today Ginzburg is the main presenter of Channel One's "Rishon beSha'ar", a football highlights programme. He also recently participated in Israel's verson of Dancing with the Stars.
